Ways of achieving EC Funds National Funds Sponsoring Charging the services Own contribution (mainly effort)

Main Steps Schedule the needed actions Engage the main actors (personnel and cooperators) Search for funds (EC projects, sponsors, charge)

Sponsors A good description and presentation of the idea It should be structure in a way that the others will understand – Think about that a person (especially from a big company) should give only 3-5 minutes in order to read it

A successful structure that we use Need: explain in no more than 5 lines Idea: explain in no more than 10 lines How to achieve it: explain in no more than 5 lines Who will be involved: explain in no more than 5 lines Present the expenses: main categories (management, printable, venue, accommodation, catering, speakers, video coverage) Present the benefits: preferably in a bullet style and the content depend to who you refer in order to be to the point Conclude: by proposing a specific way of collaboration

Usually … We approach many sponsors We spread the budget to many organisations that we would like to support (research institutes, companies, authorities) We trying to cover most of the categories by in kind contribution of the sponsors (e.g. printing, catering, venue)
