BLG 904 test setup Hardware and Software Test 3 LV EASY Crate running  15 boards  180 channels 1 HV EASY Crate running  2 boards  12 channels 20 LV boards tested = 240 channels  2 broken (< 1%) 2 HV boards tested = 12 channels  OK Board Temperature went up to 60 °C due to a bad air circulation. Now fixed and temperature around 40 °C DCS is always running (see Giovanni Talk) LabVIEW (D. Lomidze) test program is under installation for more than 900 hours P. To be done for MTCC Release the CMS_RPCfwHardware Component Move to RPC condition db on SX5 and test the performance. Release the CMS_RPCfwHardware Component Help our Warsaw friends, creating a control and monitoring system of the LB low voltage, and integrate it into the RPC DCS. Do we want to integrate it in the FSM ?? It will be also discussed tomorrow in the DCS working group. Test all the system when the hardware will be ready at SX5 (June 06). Write documentation and organize training in order to have more people ready to take data. RPC DCS is developed as a hierarchy where every object is represented as a node of the tree, following the CMS structure. Control Unit performs as logical decision unit, they can take decisions and act on their children, sending comands, based on their states. The logical behavior of a Control Units is expressed in terms of Finite State Machines States transitions can be triggered by: Command reception, either from its parent or from the operator State changes of its child Each single element of the structure, in the FSM approach, is a different parts of the detectors, structured as logical software units, arranged in a tree-like structure.
