THE FUTURE

FUTURE SIMPLE :a) Predictions, b) Spontaneous decisions, and c) Promises WILL + INFINITIVE (without “to”) He will go Will he go? INTRODUCTION There are many ways of talking about the future, it depends on how we see the future event. The future event may: surely happen, or it is a plan or an intention, or you may think it will happen but you aren´t sure. Examples of verb tenses used to express future. Will I´ll see him at school. Be going to I´m going to wash my hair. Present Continuous I´m meeting the boss at 10.00. Present Simple Next term starts on Monday.
