Hargrave JROTC Falcon Battalion Texas A&M JCAP Fall 2016 10-11 Feb 2017 Event Texas A&M Junior Cadet Accessions Program February 10-11 2017. Communication Objectives: Open to all eligible high school juniors and seniors in JROTC, Army, Air Force, Civil Air Patrol, Marines, Navy and Sea Cadets. Activities: -Attend the Aggie Habitat for Humanity Project. -Attend the Cadet recognition ceremony. -Train with Corps National Champion “Fish Drill team.” -Compete for Corps of Cadets scholarships and in-state tuition. -Spend the night in the Corps dorms with an Aggie Cadet sponsor. -Receive valuable information on A&M admissions, financial aid and ROTC programs. Key Take-Aways: Six Cadets from the Falcon Battalion received official interviews and a opportunity to receive a full ROTC scholarship from Texas A&M Corps of Cadets pending the outcome of their ACT/SAT scores. Cadet Lauren Bryan Cadet Melissa Galar, Cadet Tara Floch , Cadet Laycie Edwards, Cadet Brittany Klesel all were invited to Texas A&M to take part in their annual JCAP program for JROTC Cadets. This is a time honor tradition in which the Falcon Cadets embraced with purpose, motivation and direction for tomorrows LEADERS! This is the Falcon Battalions first time sending this many female Cadets to any official ROTC function! “True Grit”
