Life In Eastern Europe Project Follow directions to complete project Please share slides with me!

Slide #1 Create a title slide. Make up a title to the project. Include your name, date , period. Add an image or images which capture the “essence of the project” Number each of your slides Be Creative - add more images, background, etc.

Slides #2 - #9 Slides 2-9 will include all the positives regarding living in Eastern Europe during the Cold War. Make a separate slide for each positive. Each slide will include a brief explanation and at least one image. Make sure the image matches the description. Take your time to choose a powerful, meaningful image.

Slides # 10- 19 Slides 10 - 19 will include all the negatives regarding living in Eastern Europe during the Cold War. Make a separate slide for each positive. Each slide will include a brief explanation and at least one image. Make sure the image matches the description. Take your time to choose a powerful, meaningful image.

Slide # 20 SAQ’s- answer each question in 3 to 5 complete sentences What surprised you the most about living in Eastern Europe? Why do you think there are still people who defend the Soviet system of Communism? Overall, what is the greatest positive about living in Eastern Europe?

Grading Project must be shared by 8AM Monday May 15th 50 points in Presentation Grade 45- 50 meets all the requirements of the assignment. Descriptions are accurate and the images are appropriate.Additional images, animation, background is added to gain interest of the subject. SAQ’s are answered using the text as evidence. 35-44 some requirements not met. A few descriptions are incomplete or inaccurate. Little to no additional images, background, etc. is added. SAQ’s incomplete or lacking evidence. Below 35 Half or more of the requirements not met. Turned in late. SAQ’s incomplete, lack evidence, or do not directly respond to the prompt. Project must be shared by 8AM Monday May 15th
