Directions to Pinnacle Mountain State Park The drive to Pinnacle Mountain will take about 20 minutes, but is not difficult. Take I-630 West to I-430 North. Continue North on I-430 for 2.5 miles to Exit #9, AR HW-10/Cantrell Road. At the top of the exit ramp, turn LEFT onto Cantrell Rd. Travel West on Cantrell Rd. for about 6.5 miles to Chenal Pkwy. There is a Wal Mart Supercenter at this intersection. Turn RIGHT onto Chenal Pkwy, and drive for 2 miles. You will see the park entrance on the right just after you cross a small bridge. Turn RIGHT into the park, and look for us. Its not a big place. If you miss the entrance and get to Pinnacle Valley Rd, you have gone too far. We will try to get some PICNIC TABLES close to the PLAYGROUND, and we will have a sign to help you find us. You may want to bring folding chairs or a blanket to sit on. In case of BAD WEATHER, we will meet in the Center on Aging Cafe area. However, plan to go to Pinnacle unless you get another from us announcing a relocation to the COA Cafe. In this case, you may use the COA parking lot, but only the doors next to the COA Cafe on the ground floor will be open. Potluck Tips There will be no way to reheat your food items once you are at the park. Warm them up before you leave home, or bring something that can be eaten at room temperature. Make sure you bring any necessary serving tools (large spoons, knives, etc) To make sure there is enough food for everyone, please bring as much food as you think you and your guests will eat. Please RSVP for yourself and any guests to by 5 pm on Thursday, October 26 th, so we will know how many plates/cups/forks to bring.
