Research Actuaries are involved in the most pressing issues facing society. We develop data-driven research that helps actuaries be valuable advisors. Our research, analysis and unique actuarial insight are valued by policymakers and influencers. We do not advocate for, or against, legislation. 9

Marketing Opportunities for Actuaries We are working to grow opportunities for actuaries in new roles, such as predictive analytics. We are engaging candidates who have not pursued membership to identify other industries that value actuarial training. 10
