When John realized that a lot of Pharisees and Sadducees were showing up for a baptismal experience because it was becoming the popular thing to do, he exploded: “Brood of snakes! What are we changing our mind about? Are you open? (Hebrews 4 and 12) #5 (v. 2) …while every branch that does bear fruit He prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. Are you open? (Hebrews 4 and 12) Are you willing to be God’s hands in the pruning process for your brothers and sisters?
