Changed Attitude towards marriage Double Standard Equal partnership Double Standard Prior to 1920s men courted women only if they intended to marry In the 1920s casual dating became somewhat acceptable norms Society however tended to give more sexual freedom to men than women. Many women drifted between old standards and new trends Churches and schools also protested new habits.
