The First Year Experience Pilot Program

What is the FYE The First Year Experience First Year and... Doing school Skills (note-taking, study, etc) Personal Responsibility (time mgt, financial mgt, etc) Autonomy

The FYE Pilot One class per track (3 pilot instructors) Research-based model 12-session curriculum

Anticipated Outcomes By the end of this program students will: experience a smooth transition from high school to the university feel more adjusted to the campus life & SFL demonstrate characteristics of a successful university student demonstrate greater self-autonomy develop individual identities demonstrate awareness of and responsibility for their own learning demonstrate effective study skills demonstrate effective communication skills for the academic environment demonstrate increased knowledge of the world
