Ferdinand Magellan was born around 1480 he died on April 27, 1521. He was born in Portuguese. When he was 10 years old his parents died. He was appointed by the Portuguese king at the age of 12. Magellan sailed to Spain, Africa, Asia The name of his ships were called the Santiago, San Antonio, Conception, Victoria. Ferdinand Magellan crew members died cause of scurvy-spoiled food-disease cause of non fresh food-gums start to turn black-bleed cant chew food cause it hurts so bad teeth fall out.
