Source of Data A random sample of 532 church attendees from late 2009 and early 2010 At the 95th percentile of reliability the allowance for sampling error is five percentage points, plus or minus. The response rate was 70 percent, which is very strong. This indicates reliable information from this study.

Membership Status Of those who are not baptized members, four out of five are over 30 years of age and only one in eight say they were raised by an Adventist parent or parents. These are mostly adults, not teen and young adult children from member families.
