Recent developments on the IESS framework regulation Discussed 8 times by the DSS → In 2015: DSS (February/September); DSS Board (July) General support by ESSC on 19 November 2015 Internal Commission procedure (Impact Assessment; Inter-services consultation) → Minor changes implemented as a follow-up to bilateral meetings with NSIs and to ensure full consistency with the standardised variables exercise Adoption by Commission planned by end July 2016
Recent developments on the IESS framework regulation For labour market domain, changes in: Annex 1: Renaming detailed topics Dropping some detailed topics Addition of a topic with two detailed topics Split of one detailed topic Annex V - Monthly Unemployment Rate: addition that 'Member States may not cover the last week of the reference month when it spills over the next month'
