"Television: Valet Parking for the Mind" Think about the meaning conveyed by the metaphor and why you think this metaphor was chosen. Can you think of other metaphors that express the same idea?

Advertising: Techniques How can you use these techniques in your own commercial?? You have next week to work on your super star project and it will be due on Friday, March 19. We will look at them in our tutorial the following week.

Your Task Today It is time to create your commercial!!! Choose the prospective buyer you are looking to sell your product to. Choose ONE of the five slogans that you created to design your commercial around. A slogan usually appears twice during a commercial Choose a time limit for your ad…60 or 90 seconds. You may NOT go over this time!!! Decide on the kind of commercial you are going to create!!

I will need to see the script for the speaking parts along with the technical Data (music, sound effects, graphics, etc. What kind of commercial you create is up to you (humorous, serious, Interview, appeal to the knowledge of the buyer….it is up to you!
