Impaired ECM protein synthesis in infarcted area of S100a4cre+/− × Fstl1flox/flox mice Impaired ECM protein synthesis in infarcted area of S100a4cre+/− × Fstl1flox/flox mice Transcript mRNA expression of Col1a1 and Fn1 in sham and post‐MI hearts. Hearts were obtained at day 7 after surgery. Error bars represent mean ± SEM (n = 13–16 for each group). Statistical analysis was performed by two‐way ANOVA.
