Homework Policy All homework should be turned in on time (the next day, unless told otherwise) Students fill out late homework pass 2 late assignments in one week=phone call or email home

Snacks Students are allowed to bring a snack every day, including a water bottle Please be sure your child is bringing a healthy, quick snack every day (something they can eat within 5 minutes, shouldn’t require preparation or utensils) Examples: pretzels, graham crackers, granola bars, grapes

Student Planners Students will be writing their assignments in their planners daily and responsible for bringing them to and from school Upcoming tests, quizzes, and/or projects will be noted in their planners Look for upcoming events highlighted in your child’s planner

Second Grade Partners Each grade level will be paired with another grade level Throughout the school year students will be doing activities with their partners that will focus on Character Education

JA Biz Town Field Trip: Wednesday, Oct. 19 Parent Training: Monday, October 3 We will need at least 22 parent volunteers the day of the field trip
