Mission of SHAC SHAC mission is to promote and nourish health and wellness within a safe school environment emphasizing the physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of the Lockhart ISD educational community.
Topics Discussed Ways to Increase District Goals and Performance Expectations Caldwell County 4-H handwashing Presentation for all Campuses Wellness Policy reviewed and approved by SHAC and Board Members CATCH my Breath Program for 6th grade Students and 9th grade PE Students
Events to Promote SHAC Purpose District Wide Flu Clinic November 14, 2017 -629 Students and 144 Staff Members participated Oral Health screening program implemented -March 27, 2018-ABS screened 165 students -April 19, 2018-Plum Creek screened 204 students -May 3, 2018- Navarro will be screened -September 2018- screening will begin for all other campuses LISD Health Fair held April 21, 2018 at LJHS - 250 People attended - 14 Vendors
