Introduction to Congress: Exploring the Government Shutdown Tuesday, 1/23 Wednesday, 1/24

Objective: Students will learn the history of US government shutdowns & how the current shutdown is impacting Americans. Each group will read an article on the government shutdown Use the newsprint to write down the following: A summary of the article; Impact of the shutdown based on the facts in your article; A graphic or image relating back to your group’s article. Hang up your poster when done Take notes on these posters A quiz next time on the shutdown. You can use your notes.
