English Hubs Yorkshire Endeavour English Hub Background Last year, the DfE announced a £26 million investment in English Hubs across the country. The brief:  Promote and share effective practice with a particular focus on early language and literacy teaching Hubs can offer local schools potential funding of up to £6,000 to invest in resources or training Offer opportunities for schools to apply for more intensive support from the English Hub (free of charge) Led by

English Hubs Yorkshire Endeavour English Hub English Hub Pledge: Led by English Hub Pledge: Sharing best practice across a network of local schools through three key areas of focus: Developing language and closing the word gap Developing early reading through systematic synthetic phonics Promoting a love of reading.

English Hubs Yorkshire Endeavour English Hub Led by Where will your local English Hub be? The Yorkshire Endeavour English Hub is led by Yorkshire Endeavour Academy Trust We will be working in four locations: the North Yorkshire Coast, Ryedale, the East Riding, York and Hambleton We are one of 32 national hub schools chosen through a competitive and rigorous application process.

English Hubs Yorkshire Endeavour English Hub Our offer to local schools in Cohort 1: Two free places per school at an Open Event £250 will be paid to the school of each participant attending an Open Event to cover release/travel costs (maximum 2 attendees per school). Potential funding of up to £6,000 per school to invest in resources or training An opportunity to apply for more intensive support from the English Hub (free of charge) including: A full audit of a school's early language and phonics provision carried out by one of our Literacy Specialists and support with further action planning Up to six days of school-to-school support led by one of our Literacy Specialists over the period of a year.
