Cleopatra VII Philopator Student Name Mrs. Mix Grade 09 Cleopatra VII Philopator  WAS THE LAST RULER OF EGYPT FROM THE PTOLEMY DYNASTY. SHE BECAME INFAMOUS FOR HER LOVE AFFAIRS WITH EQUALLY INFAMOUS ROMAN MEN.

Family History Father: Ptolemy XII Auletes Lineage: Macedonian house of the Lagid Ptolemies. The Ptolemy family provided Egypt with fifteen consecutive Egyptian rulers from up to Cleopatra's death. “Philopator” literally means “one who loves his father” in Greek. Siblings: Three sisters and two younger brothers, Ptolemy XIII and Ptolemy XIV.
