The Present Continuous

We use it to talk about something happening… now at the moment today

To form it we use: am, is, are + verb + ing

Let’s practise, now! What are they doing?

He’s doing his homework. She is washing her face. She’s knitting and listening to the radio. They are playing basketball. She is washing her face. They are having a cup of coffee. He is skateboarding.

She’s talking on the phone. He is eating a sandwich. They are camping. She’s talking on the phone. She’s writing an email. They are running.
