Our theme this month is Settling In. We are learning lots of new routines to make our nursery day run well. We are learning to recognise the colour yellow. Circle is our Shape of the Month. We are talking about Number 1. We will be learning about Start/Stop and Fast/Slow. Parent Information Board -Please check regularly as we will be displaying information about lots of events arranged by our Nursery cluster parent worker. Zumba starts 13th Sept!! (Percy Street Community Centre at 9:30. Cost £1.) Contact We are delighted to have our new secretary Mrs. Officer started with us. She works each Thursday. An answer phone will be on at all other times should you need to leave a message. We will get back to you after teaching time. Text messaging service is also set up. Cubby Boxes Remember to check your child’s cubby box each day for little treasures or pictures. We will also use these boxes to give you notes and information from time to time. Little Accidents We will also record any little accidents as they occur. A copy of this will always be put in your child’s cubby box. Please speak with your child’s teacher for more information if you need to as it may occasionally not be possible to catch you at the end of the day. Pull up joggers or leggings are ideal to encourage independence. Velcro fastenings on shoes are also easier for children to manage.
