Energy Project You and your group will be assigned a form of energy. Each group will pick a project for the group. Your options will be to make a song/rap, poem, or children’s storybook. Each group member is REQUIRED to contribute to the project at all time.

Getting started: REQUIRED Information You need to be well informed on your energy resources (you must convince me why it’s great and be prepared to answer any questions I may ask) Minimum of 3 examples of how its used (the more the better) Minimum of 3 advantages Minimum of 3 disadvantages http://teeic.anl.gov/er/index.cfm http://www.conserve-energy-future.com/

Option 1: Song/Rap Pick a song and rewrite the lyrics to the song. You must include all the required information about your energy form in your song/rap. You must have the karaoke version of the song by 3/14 for A-Day and 3/17 (B-day). You must have your lyrics typed and ready to turn in on performance day. (3/18 A-day and 3/19 B-day) MUST BE SCHOOL APPROPRIATE! Every group member must perform the song/rap in front of the class. Remember practice makes perfect, please know your song. You will be graded on the content of your lyrics and your group’s performance. This option may require you to work on the assignment outside of the classroom to make sure you are ready to perform the song on the due date.

Option 2: Poem Your group may create a poem about your group’s form of energy. PLEASE BE CREATIVE. You must include all the required information in your poem. You must type your poem and turn in on the due date. 3/18 A-day and 3/19 B-day. Your group must read the Poem out loud to the class. Each group member must participate.

Remember this is a children’s book. Please make the book on a level that a 3rd-4h grade student could read. Please include words and illustrations on each page. Minimum of 10 pages, not including your title page. You must include all the required information in your storybook.
