Computer Lab Do NOT enter until you have taken care of outside business. ie. bathroom or water

Upon Entering the Lab Put your backpack on one of the tables, in a chair, or under a chair. Go quietly to your computer station and login. Follow the directions on the board. Work diligently until the bell rings. Respect yourself and others

End of Class Properly log off of your computer Make sure your workstation is left neat and clean Push your chair underneath your table Quietly exit the room

NON-Negotiable Rules Cell phones Food and/or Drink at computer stations Wandering aimlessly around the room Touching another student’s computer Tardies (Be in your seat when the bell rings) *These non-negotiable rules are subject to a demerit without a previous warning.

School Internet Policy Access to the Internet is made available to students of Petal Middle School. The goal is to promote educational excellence by facilitating research, resources sharing, innovation, and communication. The Internet is to be used in support of research and education consistent with the educational objectives of Petal Middle School and Petal School District.

Other Rules Always check your workstation at the beginning of class and report anything unusual or damaged Hair brushes, combs, picks, cosmetics, perfume/cologne, lotion, etc. may not be used in the classroom Permission is needed before using storage devices such as jump drives or CD’s Be kind and cooperative with other students and teacher

Computer/Internet Usage Rules Students are allowed on the Internet for educational purposes with teacher’s permission. Students will use proper netiquette. Students are to keep the computer settings that are set up by the teacher and technology staff. Students are to use the default desktop background. Students are to keep original icons on the desktop. Students will save ALL work to their “H” drive or to Google Classroom Playing games instead of working, going to improper sites, or typing inappropriate words could result in losing computer privileges

If you are absent... Make-up work is YOUR responsibility Get with me to schedule a time to come back to make up the work.
