ICT – Y11GCSE Unit 4 – Web Site Design – Practical Task (3 lessons) Create site using Serif WebPlus Ensure that you have created an images folder to store any pictures that you intend to use in your site. The images folder must be saved inside a website folder. You will save your web site in the website folder. Once you have opened the program ensure that you have selected the Master Page. The objects that you include on this page will automatically be included on all pages in your site. You should include a heading, navigation bar and some details at the foot of the screen that could include quick links. When you select your Navigation bar it will only display the Home button as you only have a home page on your site. As you add extra pages the navigation bar will automatically update with extra buttons that will have hyperlinks attached. You can alter the formatting of the bar by double clicking. Right click on your home page and select Page Properties, here you can alter the height, width, name (which appears in the navigation bar).
