TRANSPORT Transport or transportation is the movement of humans, animals and goods from one location to another.

Roadways India has large network of roads. Metalled or unmetalled.

Important roads in India The national highways  state capitals and other big cities and towns. The state highways  cities and towns within the state with national highways.

Railways The lifeline of our country. Rajdhani Express and Shatabdi Express travels at a seed of 120-130 km per hour.

Waterways Water transport- The cheapest and suitable mode of transort. Suitable for transporting heavy goods . Carry people. Passenger ships Carry petroleum and oil.
