Science or Social Studies: I can describe the effect of different volumes and pitches on sound.  Grammar: I can identify synonyms and antonyms.  Writing: I can write poems using details.  Social Skills Lessons: I can recognize how my body feels when I feel different emotions.  HOMEWORK- Homework is sent weekly. It is not graded but good practice for students to gain fluency in both math and reading. It is due every Friday. Students that complete their homework will get to go to a homework celebration at the end of the month Remember our canned food drive is still going on! Send in any canned goods to be used during a fun P.E. activity. The Major Savers fund raiser is going on now! If your child sells any cards, send the money back in the envelope and your cards will be sent home that same day. I will be checking reading logs now through the end of February for the Six Flags Six Hours of Reading program. Any student who has logged six hours of reading will receive a free admissions ticket to Six Flags. Please save toilet paper rolls and shoe boxes to send in with your child for some fun Science Experiments! Both experiments are the week of December 10th so feel free to send them in anytime! Thank you!! Please remember to help you child bring a coat, hat, and gloves.
