What I learned in Computer Skills Jimmy Freels

Unit 1-3: Online learning, communication; going mobile I learned how to communicate online under certain circumstances I learned how to take an online college course I learned how to create a personal blog I learned how to make a bibliography

Unit 4-5: Information literacy, cyber ethics/security I learned about search engines and meta- search engines. Now I can easily look up information on Google, Bing, and Yahoo. I learned how to determine if a site is legitimate using the CRAAP method Not everything you think is private is actually private. On Spokeo I was able to look up me and my family’s personal information It’s not good to click on pop-ups because it might be a computer virus.

Unit 6: Creating documents I learned Microsoft Word to edit a letter and create a business letter I learned to format and write a résumé.

Unit 7: Learning Excel I learned how to properly budget using an excel spread sheet and how much money it cost per day to buy groceries, take-out food, etc. and how much money it costs to go on trips, and even to live in my house. I also learned that I can add a pie chart and a bar graph to my excel spreadsheets

Unit 8: Creating a PowerPoint presentation You’re on Slide #6 right now. What do you think so far? This class is such a blast!
