The KASCADE-Grande experiment KASCADE-Grande (Karlsruhe Shower Core and array detector) E = 1016 - 1018 eV Grande detectors measure e/ +  component simultaneously KASCADE shielded scintillators allow to measure  component of EAS. (E > 230 MeV  sec) CIC method applied to KG muon data – J.C. Arteaga Malargüe 2008, PAO Coll. Meeting

Reconstruction of N Measured  densities in KASCADE (r) = N  f(r) N =  n(ri) /  [f(ri)Aicos(z)] f(r) known from MC simulations N corrected from reconstruction systematics CIC method applied to KG muon data – J.C. Arteaga Malargüe 2008, PAO Coll. Meeting

Summary Using the CIC method, we compared the muon spectra for different  without the influence of MC models. Good agreement among reconstructed muon spectra from KG data on vertical showers with the CIC method. Simulated Λ is different from the one obtained from the CIC method and the KG data.
