Music & Vulnerable People What do we do?   INDIVIDUALS DAY CENTRES CARE HOMES PALLIATIVE CARE Flying Squads Interactive concerts Music & Dementia workshops & interactive concerts + trainings Music & Dementia workshops & interactive concerts + trainings Bespoke musical moments + trainings

Music & Dementia workshops 8 weekly improvised music workshops – with residents and staff/carers; 3 preparatory meetings Introductory evening for families and carers; Maximum 10 residents; 2/3 staff in circle (+2observing), 3 professional musicians (+project manager); 3 hours: 1st hour preparation; 2rd hour session; 3rd hour evaluation 2 evaluations + 1 final assessment during the series Staff and volunteer carer training.

Impact of the workshop series: Music & Dementia Impact of the workshop series: Residents - improved eating, sleeping, communication, reduced aggression… 2. Staff/carers – improved working atmosphere, better connection with each other through music, deeper contact with residents… 3. Economics – Work! New job opportunities for professional musicians
