Language Arts – Warm Up 10/11/18 Similes and Metaphors Create your own examples of 5 similes and 5 metaphors in your I.A.N. on page 110. Refer to the definitions of similes and metaphors in your I.A.N. if you need assistance. If you finish early, complete the R.A.C.E.S. Writing Prompt #2 in your I.A.N. on page 109. Then, read indepently.

Standard: ELACC6RL3 – Describe how a particular story’s or drama’s plot unfolds in a series of episodes as well as how the characters respond or change as the plot moves toward a resolution.
