#11 – How many questions were answered from the “Make the Case” Labs? THREE!!! Do double stuff Oreos really have double the stuffing? Are Viva paper towels more absorbent than generic paper towels? Which candy will dissolve the most in hot water after 2 minutes?

Make the case! 1. You will need to prove your point! Argument Concrete Details CONSISTENT measurements with units Commentary 2. Answer each question by… Reading the available tools Developing precise & through procedures Fill out ALL data charts Note any tools & methods used

Was it consistent?? (the same) Who squeezed the paper towel Make the case problems??? Variables – what YOU change can make a difference in the concrete details (evidence!) Was it consistent?? (the same) Size of paper towel Amount of water used Who squeezed the paper towel Water lost Temp of water

Make the Case! Poster Make a poster showing your results using the ACDC method. Your poster is worth 25 pts. and must include the following: Title = Question (ANY COLOR) A = Answer to Question (BLACK or BLUE) CD = Procedures (RED), Materials, Data Charts & Graph C = Proving why your argument is correct (GREEN) Your poster must include pictures/graphics that support your argument. Grading is based on following the directions, neatness and overall effort.
