April 21, 2016 TSWBAT start critically thinking about the things that they believe and how this defines them Warm Up: why do you think its important for people to share their beliefs?

I believe there are people who make a difference Write an acrostic poem to the teacher at HHS who has made the most impact on your life. Use their name, and adjective, the words “thank you,” or anything that expresses your gratitude toward this person 20-25 minutes

May 5, 2016 TSWBAT analyze the writings of others and apply what they have learned to their own drafts. Warm Up: Read the story from yesterday and pick out one thing you liked and one thing you would change.

Pretend you are the girl from the story Lesson Pretend you are the girl from the story Re-write the story in 100 words or less. How did you decide what to keep? Did you change the tone? The theme?
