Do you get short of breath more easily than others your age ? Are you older than 40 years ? Are you a current smoker or an ex-smoker ? Maximise detection on Day of Spirometry

NOVEMBER 16, 2005 Appointments November, 16 between 9 AM and 12 AM and between 2 PM and 4 PM Short questionnaire and spirometry: 10 to 15 min Results handed over to the patients Patients with airflow obstruction must see their doctor to start treatment No new appointments will be made on the Day of the Spirometry
AFTER NOVEMBER 16, 2005 Spirometry Pneumologist or GP Airflow Obstruction GP GP in charge of diagnosis, treatment and follow-up Important ! Spirometry does NOT detect lung cancer and other smoking related diseases Smokers must QUIT smoking, even if they have no clear airflow obstruction !!!!!
