Aims of the day To support teachers, lecturers and assessors in their understanding of the requirements of the course assessment for Health and Food Technology. To provide opportunities for delegates to: ask questions and seek clarification discuss the revised requirements with colleagues

Overview of course assessment 2017/18 Course has two components: component 1: question paper – 50% of the total course award – 50 marks component 2: assignment – 50% of the total course award – 50 marks

Component 1: question paper 50 marks question 1 – 20 marks question 2, 3, 4 – 10 marks each Supporting documents course assessment specification course report for 2017 past papers and marking instructions specimen question papers and marking instructions
