A, HeLa cells (7 × 104) stably expressing either GFP or GFP-tagged full-length transmembrane ICAM-1, and 7 × 104 DiI-labeled RAW264.7 cells were plated as indicated in an ibidi removable 2-well silicone culture insert that was placed in a cell culture μ-Dish. Twenty-four hours after seeding, the culture inserts were carefully removed. After 24 hours, migration of macrophages toward HeLa-GFP or HeLa-GFP-ICAM-1 cells was assessed by fluorescent microscopy in indicated areas 1 and 2. Scale bars, 200 μm.
