Mutah University Prof Omer Maaitah Kick off Meeting Job-JO Project Feb-2019

Mutah University It was on March 22nd, 1981 that a royal decree accorded the approval of a law stipulating that Mutah University be established as a national institution for both military and non-military higher education at Mutah in the Al-Karak Governorate. This approval came as an incarnation of the will of the Late King Hussein Bin Talal, [May Allah Bless His Soul], to erect an excellent academic institution in the southern region of the dear homeland.

Mutah University   Mutah University is a guidepost for illumination and development, a conspicuous tributary of the economy of the developing Southern Jordan. The University is treading confidently into the next decade according to an elaborate strategic plan focusing on prospective fields of knowledge and embracing programs culminating in knowledge economy.

Mutah University   Today, Mutah University sits on the apex of a pyramid of real achievements. It has been so lucky that it is always under the care of His Majesty King Abdulla the Second.

Mutah University Today, the non-military campus of Mutah University, which was established in nineteen eighty six comprises twelve colleges and three deanships. The military campus is comprised by The Military College, The Police Academy, Princess Muna for Nursing, The College of Military Leadership, The National Defense College and Prince Hassan College for Islamic Disciplines

Mutah University The total number of students enrolled in the University for the academic year 2013/2014 was 22,505 students, distributed between the academic degrees as follows: Bachelor Degree: 48 Programs Master Degree: 29 Programs Doctoral Degree: 5 Programs

Goals and Strategic Objectivities Goal #6: Improving university administrative performance to be more transparent and responsive for the purpose of providing adequate services Objective 6.1 Developing the competence of administrative staff inside the university to improve productivity 6.2 Setting the suitable environment for administrative work whish is based on institutionalization 6.3 Developing a mechanism for liaising between administrative services and academic process 6.4 Developing the legislative and organizational structures of the university

Goals and Strategic Objectivities Goal #7: Variation of financial resources and controlling their use to reach a level where university becomes self-independent Objective 7.1 Developing programs and mechanisms that allow the university to gain financial support. This support can be gained through individuals and local or international organizations 7.2 Developing financial systems that can direct and control expenditures. 7.3 Varying investment activities for the university 7.4 Developing promotional programs for the university on both national and international levels

Goals and Strategic Objectivities Goal #8: Developing postgraduate programs to be more effective in producing scientific knowledge and applied research Objective 8.1 Focusing on the content and methods of teaching postgraduate students according to international standards 8.2 Creating accurate mechanisms for the ongoing assessment for the quality of education and its effective impact on postgraduate studies 8.3 Finding new mechanisms to gain financial support for postgraduate students 8.4 Enhancing the relationships with other foreign outstanding universities in the field of postgraduate studies

Goals and Strategic Objectivities Goal #9: Expanding the use of information technology and mechanisms of E-learning Objective 9.1 Be related to the updated changes in the field of communication and information technology 9.2 Employing information technology and communication and merging them with teaching-learning process 9.3 Using management information systems in managing the university

The Faculty of Engineering   The faculty of Engineering is considered as one of the distinguished faculties within Mu'tah University as will as in Jordan. The faculty members are well known in Jordan and in the region with regard to their teaching, research activities, publications and their excellent  relationships between themselves and their students and the local community.   The faculty graduates enjoy good reputation at the national and regional level.
