Integration of water Directives in WISE (1) Bathing Water Directive Information on 2007 season published on 2 June 2008 in WISE Work on new Directive 2007/6/EC started Nitrates Directive Reporting process through WISE / Reportnet ends by 1 July 2008 2008-2009: Visualisation on WISE viewer 2009-2010: Streamlining with SoE reporting Drinking Water Directive Reporting sheets agreed in 2007 and technical implementation done in 2008 Reporting process starts 01/06/08 until 15/02/09 2009: visualisation in WISE viewer Notes for the Speaker: More information on the Directive, the implementation process and also the guidance documents are available on the internet.

Integration of water Directives in WISE (2) Urban Waste Water Treatment Directive Status on UWWTD Questionnaire-2007 on art.15 : 20 MS reported Missing reports: EL, IRL, UK, PT, PL, MT Data as reported by MSs has been published on WISE viewer on 02/06/08 2008: technical implementation of UWWTD questionnaire into WISE/Reportnet for next reporting exercise In addition, work on streamlining reporting between Eurostat/OECD Joint Questionnaire and UWWTD questionnaire is on-going WISE Marine Concept paper under consultation Notes for the Speaker: More information on the Directive, the implementation process and also the guidance documents are available on the internet.

Proposal for a WISE workshop To bring together experts from the various water policies to discuss common interests and horizontal issues linked to WISE development WFD, UWWTD, bathing water, drinking water, nitrates...
