Electric Current- A flow of electric charges is an electric current.
Circuits Series vs Parallel. Electric Circuit Path of current flow As electrons move through a circuit, they transfer potential energy from the source.
Types of Circuits Series & Parallel. Objective Students will be able to compare series and parallel circuits in order to describe how energy is transferred.
Aim: What are Circuits.
Circuits Series & Parallel. What type of circuit is this? Series Circuit-has only one path for electrons to flow.

Electric Charge: Objects become positively charged when they lose electrons and negatively charged when they gain electrons; objects with like charges.
ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS. Circuits Circuits are paths which small particles flow through to provide us with electricity for lights, appliances, and other devices.
Comes from Latin word that means, “to go around.” A circuit is a path provided to allow electrons to flow. A circuit allows the energy from a power.

Simple Circuit

Load Energy Source Conductor 3 Parts of a Circuit: Load Object to operate Energy Source Conductor

If one load goes out, they ALL go out because it breaks the circuit. If one load goes out, the rest continue to work because it follows a different path. If one load goes out, they ALL go out because it breaks the circuit.

Parallel Circuit: 2 or more paths a current can follow Series Circuit: Only 1 path a current can follow

Left Side of Comp book write: Simple Circuit 3 Major Parts On the Right Side write… Two Types of Circuits
