Building description Museum built in 2011 in modern style, by using the current good practices for energy efficiency. The effectiveness of measures for Energy Efficiency as well as the spirit of economical operation are directly related to the modality of operation of the building, as well as the awareness for the appropriate energy use of the employees.

Implementation targets The general target is implementation of a system and processes designed in accordance to the standard ISO 50001:2011 that will provide a controlled and systematic modality of energy use in the frames of the building and that will contribute to the energy efficiency increase and cost decrease. Specific targets Decrease energy costs on an annual level through the introduction of a structured approach for the energy use Implement a Management system for the effective and efficient energy use Increase awareness of the employees for the benefits from efficiently using the energy

Results Identified main energy users in the building Developed Energy Management Policy Documented Energy Management System according to ISO50001 Employees trained for an economical use of energy Improved operational capacities and practices for an economical energy use

Implementation Activities Analysis of the current energy consumption and identification of the main users Definition of the Energy Management Policy Preparation of the Energy Management Manual with the relevant procedures in accordance to ISO 50001:2011 Definition of scopes and targets for energy consumption Identification of an Action plan for fast, however also long- term savings Training of employees for economical spending of the energy
