Figure 1 Comparison of the ability of DHEAS concentration and the number of oocytes retrieved to predict live birth. The areas under the receiver operating characteristic curves of DHEAS and the number of oocytes retrieved were 0.69 (95% CI 0.59–0.79) and 0.67 (95% CI 0.56–0.77), respectively. DHEAS concentration of 5.4μmol/l offered the optimal performance in predicting live birth with sensitivity and specificity of 77.8% and 69.4%, respectively (70% of patients were correctly classified).
