The areas under the receiver operating characteristic curves of DHEAS and the number of oocytes retrieved were 0.69 (95% CI 0.59–0.79) and 0.67 (95% CI 0.56–0.77), respectively. DHEAS concentration of 5.4μmol/l offered the optimal performance in predicting live birth with sensitivity and specificity of 77.8% and 69.4%, respectively (70% of patients were correctly classified).
