Definition of Scientific Induction Scientific- to do with science Induction- trying to find patterns by observing things

The Scientific Method Scientists uses scientific induction when they test hypotheses they made. Scientists ‘guess and check’ when they are doing experiments to make sure things are working well. Being a researcher and a critical thinker means dealing with challenges.

Our Task Determine a ten-digit number where the first digit tells how many zeros are in the entire number, and so on, until the tenth digit tells how many nines are in the entire number. What could we do to start solving this problem?

Try This! Put random numbers in each spot and see what happens! How did this work out for you?

One Possible Starting Point Draw ten blanks in a row and label the blanks with their designated values. __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ 0’s 1’s 2’s 3’s 4’s 5’s 6’s 7’s 8’s 9’s

What did you do when you became frustrated? Let’s make a list of some strategies to overcome frustration.
