Direct connect communication systems Minimum of six radios per IMERT response trailer and one per IMERT response vehicle Direct connect communication systems

Response Equipment Trailers Eight (8) 8’ wide by 24’ length with command module in front end. 10KW diesel generator. Side view windows. Three to four 8’ wide by 16’ length trailers for training packages.

Response Trailers Has roof observation deck Will have the all-terrain vehicle as well as all other response equipment

Response Trailers Has the command module in front end. Has scene lighting all sides

Primary Equipment Movers Response vehicles assigned to IDPH personnel. Will have various response and communications equipment on-board.

Multi-wheeled All Terrain Vehicles Each IMERT response trailer will be equipped with a multi-wheeled all terrain with patient hauling package.

Defibrillators A biphasic defibrillator in each IMERT adult medical box.

Command Tools The IMERT equipment trailers command module will have command and accountability tools to assist with administrative functions. Wireless area network between all IMERT laptops in trailers/vehicles.

Shelters Each IMERT equipment trailer will have one shelter assigned to it.

Specialized Medical Equipment New equipment to assist with triage and treatment.

IMERT Response Each IMERT region will have two equipment packages Chicago north Chicago south North east North west Central east Central west South east South west
