SKILLS OF THE PROPOSER OPI Photonics SME in Torino (NW-Italy) Developer and manufacturer of innovative components and sub- systems for industrial and biomedical laser applications (e.g., high-power laser diode modules, devices for beam shaping and delivery). SKILLS OF THE PROPOSER Competences: Architectures for high-power / multi-wavelength laser diode modules. Development of automated solutions for the assembly of optoelectronic systems. Development of high-power (watts to kilowatts) laser beam managing systems (switches, coupler, collimators, delivery, …). Development laser-based sensing systems. Facilities (also in cooperation with Politecnico of Torino Univ.): Clean rooms, laser material processing (femto, pico, CO2), EBL, etc. Skills: Coordination, Technical coordination, Writing. Work that can be performed: Prototyping, System Integration, Dissemination, Engineering.

SKILLS OF THE PROPOSER Smart applicator for tumor laser ablation of deep-laying organs (e.g., liver, pancreas) with customized irradiation pattern (e.g., side irradiation) and integrated sensing capabilities (i.e., real-time monitoring of induced temperature).
