Clinical microbiological case: a firm, right infraclavicular mass in an adult woman with connective tissue disease  E. Pacios, J.M. García-Lechuz, A. Turrión, J. Lopez Longo  Clinical Microbiology and Infection  Volume 8, Issue 10, Pages 669-670 (October 2002) DOI: 10.1046/j.1198-743x.2002.00522.x Copyright © 2002 European Society of Clinical Infectious Diseases Terms and Conditions

Figure 1 A firm, tender, non-fluctuant mass was observed in the right anterior infraclavicular area. It was 5.5 cm in diameter, and extended laterally to the anterior axillary line without adenopathy. There were no signs of cellulitis were presented. Figure 2 Enhanced chest CT scan revealed a hypodense multiloculated lesion, 6 cm in diameter, with peripheral enhancement, in the soft tissue of the right chest (arrow), and small nodules in the right para-axillary region.
