Current state of planning Letter of EC to Water Directors - preparations of the CIS work programme beyond 2012 the current CIS work programme finishes this year In the past the last year of the mandate was used to discuss future activities, by first having an orientation debate at the spring meeting of the Water Directors and then holding a final discussion and agreeing the final work programme at the second meeting of the year  

Proposed Procedure EC Proposal to WDs: to delay the endorsement of the post-2012 work programme to the first semester of 2013, to allow proper consideration and discussion of the outcomes of the Blueprint (shall be published by November 2012) Working Groups shall contribute with proposals for the future work programme in time for an initial discussion at the Water Directors meeting under the Cypriot Presidency.
