Project 7: Modeling Social Network Structures and their Dynamic Evolutions with User- Generated Data from IoT REU Student: Emma Ambrosini Graduate mentors: Marzieh Edraki Faculty Mentor(s): Dr. Guo-Jun Qi Week 7 (July 5 – July 7, 2017) Accomplishments: Adjusted loss function variables in LS/DCGAN code so that it runs properly, produces acceptable results Looked further into LaTeX usage and formatting tools Made progress on drafting the final report Began looking at gradient issue, where and how to implement tensorflow’s gradients function in the code Plans for next week: Make progress on penalizing the gradient of the cost function we implemented Develop final report more Get started on poster, basic structure and organization of things NSF REU Research Experience on Internet of Things 2017
