Veteran’s Day November 11 Patriotism –is an emotional attachment to a nation which an individual recognizes as their homeland also known as national feeling or national pride Sacrifice - the act of giving up something that you want to keep in order to get or do something else or to help someone November 11 Video clip “I fought for you” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AgYLr_LfhLo Teachers: If you would like to view the clip a second, here is the link. Purpose for viewing: Listen and look for examples of patriotism and sacrifice.
