On 15 June 2013, members of the U. S On 15 June 2013, members of the U.S. Army Warrant Officer Association, Derby Chapter, Fort Knox, KY gathered to fellowship over breakfast and discuss upcoming events for the month ahead at the VFW, Post 10281 in Radcliff, Kentucky. Soldiers, spouses and children joined in the fellowship and later in the cleanup of a two miles stretch of highway. VFW President and members are huge supporters of the USAWOA, Derby Chapter.

On 15 June 2013, 0900, members and family members of the USAWAO Derby Chapter reported to duty and proudly served the community during their monthly Adopt-A-Highway cleanup. Derby Chapter assumed responsibility to cleanup a two miles stretch of highway on Logdson Road in Radcliff, KY. Members and family members pose proudly beneath the sign identifying our piece of the pie; (17) volunteers included ten members, four children, and three civilians (spouses).
