Combination of Aortic Stent-Graft and Arterial Embolization for Ruptured Bronchial Artery Aneurysm  Chuan-xian Hu, MD, Su Huang, MD, Zhi-wei Xu, MD, Wei Chen, MD, Jia-sheng Huang, MD, Zhi Fu, MD  The Annals of Thoracic Surgery  Volume 92, Issue 2, Pages e19-e21 (August 2011) DOI: 10.1016/j.athoracsur.2011.02.082 Copyright © 2011 The Society of Thoracic Surgeons Terms and Conditions

Fig 1 (A) Contrasted computed tomographic (CT) scan shows a right pleural effusion and an avidly enhancing round mediastinal mass adjacent to the right primary bronchus, which is labeled by an arrow. The mass was markedly enhanced as the same degree as the aorta, revealing that this lesion was vascular. (B) The CT angiography confirmed that the mass was a bronchial artery aneurysm. (C) Selective arteriogram of right bronchial artery denoted that the aneurysm arose from an enlarged and tortuous right bronchial artery. Fig 2 (A) A repeat computed tomographic scan 1 year later revealed no aneurysm or hemothorax. (B) The computed tomography angiography confirmed that no bloodstream to the prior right bronchial artery 1 year later, and the aortic stent is in the right position.
